About Us

Introduction

Ta Ellinakia Dance Group is an Award Winning Dance Group! The dance group is for our youngest members, composed of children ages three to twelve years old. It is an opportunity for all children to learn a variety of Greek Dances and to make new friends! The children are taught the basic dances of our culture and many others from various parts of Greece. Our group is a church organization and all members are expected to be supportive active members and devoted to their faith.

The group performs at many local festivals in our state including our own. Ta Ellinakia have competed the past four years at the Annual Greek Folk Dance Festival of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of New Jersey.

Ta Ellinakia Dance group year begins in January and ends in December of each year. New members are accepted in February of each year after the completion of the Annual Greek Folk Dance Festival of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of New Jersey competition. See below for upcoming practices days and times. Practice is held once a week for an hour. We encourage all parents to bring their children to this fun activity which keeps our culture alive!
